Klein Optenhorst Part 2

At Last!!! Good morning to all.... I am back!!

Well, it is not that I was gone in the first place...but I have not  been able to publish my blog due to issues with blogger!! Grrrr..... It is a mystery??.... It uploaded photos and I wrote posts but it refused point blank to "publish". Many frustrating hours and loads of techno jargon later.... somehow it all got sorted out! Happiness is...a functioning blogger! So happy to be back!

So let us continue with the tour of Klein Optenhorst. If you missed part one or just want a recap, please click here.

A delicate looking Camellia welcomed me and this magnificent splash of colour below...

This is the view from the veranda framed by the trees.
So picturesque...

This part of the garden is terraced and you really need to take time to enjoy not only the magnificent view but the variety of plants.

Such a beautiful spot to sit and relax...

This bench is tucked away on one of the terraces...

The weavers have colonised this tree and the Gunnera is just gorgeous!!

Some treasures...and busy bodies!

This water feature to the one side of the property has a very Mediterranean feel and the fragrance that hangs in the air from the Honeysuckle Azalea is just heavenly...

I wish you could smell it!!!
I could sit here for the day and just enjoy the fragrance...
Love the colour as well...

Looking down to the pond...

I enjoy the different feel in this part of Jenny's paradise.

There is a large collection of Salvias

Beautiful colour combination....

Rose love.....

...some tumbling from the trees above...

Small detail abounds...

Klein Optenhorst is always a great garden to visit!

I hope you enjoyed that and remember to...

Live well

Veronica
